nternational School of Tourism is a pilot project of the department, which gives an opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of different enterprises of tourism, with different types of tourism, with the peculiarities of tourist activity in different countries of the world ... In recent years, tourism in all countries has been shaped by the transformation of behavioral characteristics of consumers, practices and patterns of consumption associated with personification. With the changing lifestyle, the modern consumer of travel services wants to travel more and more often, realizing their hobbies and interests. At the same time, completely different requirements are put forward both to the tourist product itself, and to those specialists who form it. Today, it is not enough to have only professional skills and knowledge in the field of tourism, an important element of professional portraiture and reputation in the modern tourism industry is soft skills, the so-called "soft skills". Without the communication skills, flexibility and adaptability, technology of time management, skills in the field of interpersonal communication can not do the modern professional in the field of tourism. The International School of Tourism helps to master such skills.
Tourism, as a type of activity, as an extremely interesting business, can and should be studied not only in the audience ... This was proved by the International School of Tourism, which was held in Athens on the initiative of the Department of Tourism and Economy of the enterprise and attended by representatives of different universities of Ukraine and Greek companies in the field of tourism.
Greece has provided interesting meetings, new friends ... incredible emotions ... unforgettable impressions ... most importantly, it has provided new knowledge ... interesting facts ... a desire to learn ... to learn ... and to learn ... to learn about the world and share your knowledge! Another tourist school has finished today ... It was an incredible trip that gave, as always, new knowledge, interesting acquaintances, communication with like-minded people ... We visited three countries - Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, got acquainted with the national peculiarities of these countries. , with the activities of international companies, and most importantly - received unforgettable emotions. And tourism is, first and foremost, emotions ... it turns out that it is not so easy, because today there are brand new, modern consumers of tourist services ... who make extremely high demands on their emotions, regardless of the purpose of the trip. .. and we need to learn ...
The historical and contemporary role of tourism in the global economy and culture is global. Tourism in the modern world has become a major sector of service to the population. The modern tourism industry is one of the most profitable sectors of the world economy. That is why every year there is an increasing demand for relevant staff. Implementation of the educational program on tourism is impossible only with the participation of representatives of the academic community. Today, the need to participate in this process of practitioners has been proven. The Department of Tourism and Economics of the Enterprise, NTU "Dniprovsk Polytechnic" actively finds new and new approaches in the implementation of practical training of future specialists in the field of tourism. Despite the fog, Bratislava was met with Slovak comfort and tranquility. Tourism in Slovakia, as well as in Ukraine, is under development. There are common problems and common solutions. Most importantly, we have the opportunity to share experiences, gain new knowledge, and communicate with professionals.
Under the influence of globalization processes, the classical understanding of the tourism industry as a type of economic and economic activity associated with the reception and service of guests, both internal and external tourist flow, is expanding. Modern objects of transport, hospitality industry, entertaining, business, wellness, sports and other destination, tour operators and travel agents need to constantly develop. the forms of their promotion ... There is an active struggle for the attraction of territories, in which the latest technologies and tools - IT, social networks, media and others are more and more involved. The importance of tourism in intercultural and inter-civilizational dialogue is increasing…
In such circumstances, educational institutions that train specialists in the field of tourism must find new approaches and use modern methods to develop the necessary competences. The International Travel School program was filled with various interesting elements: visiting historical and cultural sites of Bratislava, Vienna and Budapest, tasting national dishes of Slovakia, Austria and Hungary, getting acquainted with the activities of Wizz Air and Ryanair airlines, FlixBus international carriers, Regiojet flights, Regiojet features of modern tours, the role of bloggers and blogging in the development of the tourism industry.
