International relations
The Department of Tourism and Business Economics supports scientific cooperation with foreign scientific institutions and educational organizations, in particular:
- University of Rzeszów (Rzeszów, Poland);
- Nicolaus Copernicus University (Torun, Poland);
- Higher School of Economics and Management (Prague, Czech Republic);
- International Scientific and Educational Association L´Association 1901 "SEPIKE" (Association of Western European Universities, Munich, Germany);
- Higher Banking School (Wroclaw, Poland);
- University of Attica in Greece (Department of Tourism Management).
- Agreement with the Italian association UCM - Italy in the framework of the program "Food Security and Partnership for Sustainable Development" (link to FB).
The work of the Department of Tourism and Business Economics involves cooperation with educational institutions, institutions and research organizations of other countries in the following areas:
- internships of teachers in higher educational institutions and cultural and educational organizations of other countries;
- stay of teachers of the department in scientific and creative and business trips abroad, exchange of educational and methodical literature;
- holding joint scientific-theoretical and scientific-practical conferences, symposiums, seminars;
- publication of collections of scientific works, materials of scientific-theoretical conferences, information bulletins.
In order to coordinate international contacts, exchange experience and information, the Department of Tourism and Business Economics establishes direct links with foreign educational and research institutions, professors and lecturers of these educational institutions in the field of educational, scientific and educational activities (invitations and participation in international conferences, symposiums, round tables, trainings, including personal invitations).
Teachers of the Department of Tourism and Business Economics regularly participate in international scientific conferences held abroad (Poland, Germany, USA, Canada, Czech Republic, Bulgaria).
International cooperation enables teachers of the department to master and successfully use the latest teaching methods, research, information technology of foreign colleagues as a means of innovative approach to the process of teaching and training specialists in economics of industrial enterprises, tourism enterprises.
